The three-semestral Master’s studies in the field of International Logistics contain theoretical and practical elements, prepare graduates to use the acquired competences on the labor market. Studies are interdisciplinary in nature. Students gain knowledge in the area of logistics, management and quality sciences and IT. The aim of this program is to familiarize students with the complexity and multifaceted nature of international logistics management systems and the impact of globalization processes on logistics systems. The possibilities and conditions for shaping logistics in an interdisciplinary approach will be explained.
Graduates of the program acquire qualifications enabling them to pursue careers in logistics enterprises operating on an international scale, transnational corporations, and other globally oriented economic organizations, including positions as logistics specialists in commercial, service and industrial enterprises. The program provides substantive preparation for employment in freight forwarding and transport companies, logistics operators, distribution centers, as well as in entities delivering specialized consulting services in the field of supply chain management and the optimization of logistics processes.
The adopted concept of International Logistics education assumes the acquisition of theoretical and methodological knowledge as well as skills in managing business activity, enabling students to independently formulate practical and theoretical conclusions. Acquired analytical skills allow to solve problems occurring in the area of logistics. The studies allow to acquire contemporary knowledge about the social and economic environment, the functioning of the market and organisation.
